Replacing Drainage Culvert

Recently, we teamed up with our friends at Affordable Waste Solutions to help a homeowner in Hampden replace a failing driveway drainage culvert. The original metal pipe had deteriorated at the bottom over time, weakening the structure and allowing water to wash out material beneath the driveway. That erosion created a dangerous pothole and made the area unsafe to drive over.

Working together, we removed the damaged culvert, cleaned and prepared the trench, and installed a durable plastic replacement designed to stand up to long-term moisture and seasonal conditions. The entire removal and replacement was completed in a single day, so the homeowner could regain safe, reliable access to their driveway without unnecessary disruption.

If your driveway has pooling water, washouts, soft spots, or recurring potholes, a failing culvert may be the cause, reach out and we’ll take a look.
